MISD Promotes Growth Through Innovation at Educator Job Fair

As Manor continues to grow, educators are starting to notice.

Manor ISD held an Educator Job Fair on Saturday, April 1st at Manor Middle School. Almost 110 candidates attended to learn more about MISD's 15 campuses and central office departments. Applicants also had the opportunity to submit resumes and interview for open positions.

Guests got insight into MISD's Growth Through Innovation campaign, which includes new schools under construction, innovative programs such as New Tech, Fine Arts Academies, and International Baccalaureate coming to the district. Applicants also learned about MISD's wide range of Career and Technical Education programs.

"There is a lot of interest in the new direction with Growth Through Innovation for Manor ISD," said MISD Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery. "I had a chance to visit with several participants from Houston, San Antonio, and surrounding school districts. It really made me feel good about the direction that we are headed."

In addition, guests learned about MISD's strong partnerships with community leaders such as Samsung, Applied Materials, and Breakthrough Austin. Thank you to the MISD Human Resources Department for their hard work in setting up the event. We look forward to growing our MISD family for years to come!
